What is Raised Business Card Printing?

This is another common method used for printing Business Cards. With this type of printing the ink is raised above the paper giving a textured three dimensional appearance to the Business Cards. The process of achieving this raised lettering is also known as Thermography, commonly known as "Poor Man's Printing."

Thermography is a technique in which a special powder is added to the ink which is printed to the business card.

The ink is then heated and the ink and powder mix dries and forms a raised effect on the card, which gives the appearance of engraving.
